so i walked home tonight from 23rd and 5th; nice brisk walk, quite fresh… past my most favorite building in all of nyc, 1200 broadway: the gilsey… quick, 7 minute walk; though i noticed it’s still quite cold for what’s typically spring this time of year… i noticed those who are still wearing gloves, hats, scarves; and those who have changed to lighter coats, gear, open shoes… it just made me smile because i know how good the sun is going to make everyone feel…
this is the time of year when i hear so many people tell me how great their trip to la was, how nice it was to be in a warmer climate… and then i think how much we here on the east coast appreciate the sun when it does come around to warming us up inside… (i love paris in the springtime, but) there is no place quite like nyc… i’m so grateful to be present here…
